Fast-casual chain Pollo Campero to open its second Nashville-area location in February

Pollo Campero is building a new Madison location that is scheduled to open in February 2023.

Chain restaurant Pollo Campero will open its second Nashville-area location next year at 1616 Gallatin Pike N. in Madison.

The fast-casual chicken eatery also has a site at 30 Harding Mall Drive in Nashville.

The chain was founded in 1971 in Guatemala as a family-owned establishment and currently has a global presence, including 77 locations in the U.S. since 2002. 

Dowdle Construction Group will be overseeing building of the new 4,300-square-foot restaurant. Dowdle also built the first area Pollo Campero branch in 2017.

The company is excited to work with the restaurant again, said Kyle Swarm, Dowdle project manager.

“It’s been great working with the Pollo Campero team again," Swarm said. Remick Architecture, S+H Engineering and Wilson & Girgenti will also be involved in the process.

Pollo Campero's menu offers individual meals, family meals, fresh sides, desserts and drinks. Fried or grilled chicken options and sandwiches are bestsellers.

Construction is anticipated to wrap up in November. The restaurant is presently slated for a February 2023 opening. 

“We are looking forward to opening this location in Madison and hopefully expanding even further in Nashville,” said J.C. Toribio, a Pollo Campero representative.
