These are a staple in my household and for any gift. We are actually running on our room in our water bottle cabinet.
Durability is unprecedented ....We've had some that have lasted without any issues for over 3 years and they get daily use in lunch boxes, school, sports and camping. None of the colors have feeded chipped or cracked. Several have a few dents here and there but has not affected the functionality.
Definitely a fan of the 3.0 sports cap and the ability to pull apart and clean and sanitize with ease. But the screw on cap with loop is ideal for camping. With a carabiner can clip right on the backpack/tote and keeps our water cold all day.

I rated this "OK" -- if what you're looking for is a small *insulated* water botttle, then you'd probably call it "Great."
Really what I want is a super-simple, super LIGHTWEIGHT water bottle to replace the 500ml plastic disposable water bottles that I routinely re-use until they wear out. I don't need a bottle to keep its contents cold or to be "sweat-proof." I just need it to have a completely non-leaking cap and be as lightweight as possible. 16 oz/500ml is the standard size of a grab-and-go disposable water bottle. Klean Kanteen, please give us a reusable steel alternative!
