We purchased high-end wool rug for our large living room and from the first day we brought it home it has been a nightmare!! It has shed nonstop for almost 2 months and appears to be shutting worse as the days go on. It has clogged our good Dyson vacuum. We have not found a vacuum that we can actually run on this rug without a clogging with a ton of the fabric fur, even on the low suction level. We vacuum the entire first floor and five minutes later (no lie) there are green ***** of wool fabric fuzz everywhere! It sticks to your clothes, it sticks to toys, it sticks to books, couch cushions.... It is a mess!! It was a waste and a huge expense for this poor of quality of fabric and shedding. I would NEVER buy a rug from this company again or with this type of fabric. I have purchased better quality rugs at Lowe’s or at Walmart.

I purchased the rug pad based on the website's recommendations, durability, and the quality that would be added to the rug at checkout. Upon arrival, the rug pad was slightly larger than the rug itself (also purchased from RUGS USA). This meant I had to alter the rug pad so that it would not show. This was not something I had planned on doing, and found it frustating attempting to cut straigh lines. Personnally, I would have preferred the rug pad to be slightly smaller than my rug for easy implementation. The rug I purchased was a washable rug. The rug pad itself was too thick for this type of rug and caused issues with the rug laying flat. A thicker, heavier rug would be more suited for this type of rug pad. After a few days the rug pad still had the fold lines present. I ended up taking the rug pad off and not using it at all.

The pad I ordered is just a sheet. I really thought I had ordered a decent pad. It does not connect to the rug. The rug doesn’t hold. It’s more like a faux or blanket with roughness on one side. I gave up on the pad but I had difficult getting it under my furniture. It is soft but I feel like I’m going to fall even with bare feet. This is not a rug for a room that will be used. If it gets dirty I must throw away. There is not a washing machine big enough that wouldn’t cost $100 to wash. Someone may love but I’m very happy with it. Not a fan. It took me hours to get in place and it still looks lumpy. It’s going away especially almost rally on it. It’s too heavy to try and mail back. Rug ‘pad’ is dumped on a wagon in my kitchen to be trashed. I had difficulty thinking it was the right size. I changed the direction but it still didn’t line up. It might have been the texture of the rug and the same reason it doesn’t seem to lie flat. I’m sooooo disappointed that I spent precious money on this rug. I’ve already order another rug from another site. Maybe it’s clear to others that this is faux fur but not me. I think the label on it says mink. That’s what it feels like so it’s difficult to manipulated and hazardous to walk on it.

First of all, this was the WRONG SIZE for the rug I purchased it with. I bought a 9x12 rug and this was recommended to buy with the rug. It was BIGGER than the rug! So it overhangs on two sides. Also, it is a glorified piece of felt. I would not call this a "rug pad" at all. It certainly isn't premium. This website is a scam. The return process is horrendous; Rugs USA sent 3 items in one large plastic wrap, but to return, I need to package each item individually, and they charge the customer for shipping, which is expensive. I will never recommend buying from Rugs USA, and I will never purchase from this website again.
